Hi guys, My name is Angela Kalokairinou.
I am from Greece and I have been living in England for the last 5 years. I love art and here at this website you are going to find my digital brushes, coloring pages and my art creations like prints, stickers, charms, pins etc
My little story how I became an artist.
I used to draw since I was a little kid. I remember drawing Disney characters from a very young age. At around the age of 15 a friend of mine in high school gave me some books with landscapes which were painted with oil and straight away I loved them.
Then I remember I stopped painting only Disney characters and I also started experimenting with other painting tools except color pencils. One day my Dad and I went to Arts & Crafts Store and he got me many things for painting and that day was one of my best days in my life!
After that my family's house basement becomes my studio, and I did my very first oil wall paintings where some of them are still exists. I remember that when I wasn’t in the mood, I was picking up my brushes and then everything calmed down, I was lost in my world!
When I became 18 years old I went to study, everything was so new in my life and I stopped painting for 2 to 3 years. I did not draw at all! But I loved my school and the lessons were very interesting and I didn’t miss painting at all! Where one day my parents bought me a present! It was a new phone, an iPhone 3gs and that was the beginning of unveiled digital art!
That was it. I discovered that on my phone's small screen I can paint and I bought a small pen and started painting again. After a while the iPads came out and I went crazy, but I couldn't afford to purchase one while I was still a student and my income was minimum. But because I was a good hard working student I got a bursary and I managed at last to buy one!
